New CruiseCraft Explorer 530 Hits The Sweet Spot

Following hot on the heels of the launch of the CruiseCraft Explorer 485, CruiseCraft has ripped the covers off the new CruiseCraft 530 model to stunning accolades.

The CruiseCraft 530 is a totally new design from the keel all the way to the tip of the rocket launchers.  Sporting new tooling crafted to CruiseCraft’s award winning design formula, the new Explorer 530 is set to attract plenty of new boating families to the high quality CruiseCraft brand.

“We felt there was an opportunity to offer a high quality, medium sized family boat that comes with a great-value-for-money price ticket,” said CruiseCraft Sales and Marketing Manager, Peter Benston.

“This is the ideal boat which can be towed by the average family vehicle that will suit first time fishing families and those moving up from an aluminium boat.  Above all, it proudly carries the CruiseCraft name so customers are assured of superior quality and performance.”

Measuring 5.30m long (5.76m including bowsprit) the Explorer 530 is an attractive boat that owners will be proud to park in their driveway at home.  In true Explorer style, the new 530 features a cuddy cab with vee bunks, storage underneath and parcel shelf plus an expansive cockpit for a generous amount of fishing space.

In true CruiseCraft Explorer style, this rig has an abundance of high quality stainless steel in the boat.   The rocket launchers and canopy system set the distinctive CruiseCraft style apart from competitive brands.  And the SS seat frames for the skipper and front passenger are as solid and robust as seats can be.

The Explorer 530 is a great fishing boat with a recessed toe rail around the cabin sides like the Explorer 685, giving safe access to the bow.

This style of boat with cabin configuration makes the Explorer 530 the ideal day fishing boat for families.  It’s at home on lakes, bays and wide open estuaries.  But it also has the versatility to be used for camping weekends or even some impromptu tubing when the kids demand it.

Inside the boat, the features and appointments are typical of those found in any CruiseCraft model.  There is plush upholstery, including padded coamings, a walk through transom door and a generous deck hatch that provides excellent access to the bow sprit and anchor.

At the helm there is a heap of space for instrumentation, marine radios and large electronics units... the works!   The fully moulded floor liner throughout the cabin and cockpit area ensures that the Explorer 530 is a clean boat with an easy to maintain interior.

“Along with our Explorer 485, we feel that this boat will introduce many families to the CruiseCraft brand,” said Peter Benston.

“With the introduction of the 485 and the 530, it now means we have a family fishing boat to suit the needs of all fishing enthusiasts.”

“The Explorer 530 rounds out the Explorer range very neatly.    We are confident that once boaters experience one of our new CruiseCraft Explorers, they will go on and further their boating with the bigger CruiseCraft models.”

Everything about the CruiseCraft Explorer 530 remains true to the CruiseCraft philosophy of quality.  While the Explorer 530 may target entry level customers, there are no corners cut with this boat when it comes to design or construction.

The hull is foam filled for integral strength, buoyancy and quietness.  And like all models in the CruiseCraft range, the Explorer 530 is fully backed by a 7 year structural hull guarantee.

The styling fits beautifully with the fundamental CruiseCraft Explorer range, the gel coat finish is typically flawless and super shiny while the fixtures and marine fittings are the same as those used throughout the CruiseCraft line up.

The boat is rated to carry five adults with the maximum power on the transom limited to 140hp, in the customer’s choice of two stroke or four stroke configuration.  The recommended power is 115hp.    The Explorer 530 carries a kerbside weight of (approx) 1600 kgs, so can be towed with a whole range of medium sized family sedans.

And best of all is the price. A rigged boat/motor/trailer package ready for the water at dealer yards begins around the mid $50,000 mark depending upon engine and options selection.
