Team CruiseCraft Hits Melbourne Snapper Comp
Team CruiseCraft descended upon Melbourne recently to make their first official appearance at the annual Tea Tree Snapper fishing tournament. Staged on Port Phillip Bay which is renowned for high calibre snapper fishing, the core of the Team CruiseCraft towed boats all the way from Brisbane.
Team CruiseCraft is a factory backed
group of like minded CruiseCraft boat
owners. More than 350 CruiseCraft
boats of all ages and sizes, together
with some 1100 people, are registered
with Team CruiseCraft.
With Team CruiseCraft having been founded and flourished in Queensland,
the home state of CruiseCraft Boats, there is now a concerted push to foster
the strong camaraderie of CruiseCraft the brand with CruiseCraft owners and
a passion for fishing.
According to Team CruiseCraft spokesman Kevin Nichols, the focus is now on
generating greater awareness and interest amongst CruiseCraft owners in
Victoria, NSW and South Australia.
“We identified the Tea Tree Snapper competition as a key event in Victoria, so
set about planning our trip months in advance,” Kevin Nichols said.
“The team contingent included six people and two CruiseCraft Explorer 685’s
travelling from Brisbane. In Melbourne we were supported by a strong
representation of Victorian based owners.”
“We were delighted with the way our trip to Port Phillip Bay went and we have
already decided that this will be an annual event on the Team CruiseCraft
calendar.”
While Team CruiseCraft operates as an autonomous entity and at arms length
from the factory operations of CruiseCraft Boats, CruiseCraft does provide
significant support and resources across a number of fronts.
Not only is this an expression of thanks from CruiseCraft to the owners of
CruiseCraft, but the events provide invaluable feedback from the very people
who purchase and fish from a CruiseCraft boat. And it is this contribution of
ideas and thoughts that goes into the CruiseCraft R&D melting pot to make
the next generation of CruiseCraft boats even better.
CruiseCraft is a wholly family owned, third generation Australian boat manufacturing business, operating from their Brisbane manufacturing facility. CruiseCraft boats are distributed exclusively through a network of Authorised Dealers throughout Australia and selected international markets.
