Effective August 1st 2006, the ownership of Aitkin Cranes will transfer to Boom Logistics Ltd. Boom Logistics is a public company, listed on the Australian Stock exchange and provides complete ‘Lifting Solutions’ to the Australian Market.

“Aitkin Cranes has been established in the crane hire business for almost 55 years,” said Kerry O’Brien, Manager of Aitkin Cranes.

“Over the past few years we have enjoyed rapid growth In our crane hire fleet from 30 units to now over 70 all in Dry Hire Rental. Our fleet spans cranes from 5 tonne capacity through to 155 tonnes.”

Boom Logistics Ltd is a huge entity in the crane hire industry, and their acquisition of Aitkin Cranes is quite an accolade. From this point forward Aitkin Cranes will undoubtedly grow and prosper further.

Aitkin Cranes prides itself on being able to provide continued high level on-the-job support and maintenance of dry hire crane equipment anywhere in Australia, specifically for the mining and construction industries.
