Based in Winnellie in the Northern Territory, RJT Crane and Plant hire was formed out of longstanding local business SK Formwork to serve local industries with their lifting needs.

SK Formwork has been a part of the Northern Territory industry landscape for more than 40 years. Providing essential framework materials for the concrete industry, SK Formwork has recently made a move to further work opportunities in the crane hire industry by creating RJT Crane and Plant Hire.

Having had extensive experience with Tadano mobile cranes in the past, SK Formwork Director Nick Saroukos looked to a familiar brand to begin his new crane rental business.

“I have been around mobile and tower cranes for a long time,” said Nick.

“The Tadano brand is a name I am comfortable with and my previous experience with Tadano cranes helped me in my decision to purchase my new Tadano GT-550E. When people are happy with a brand, they stick to it. ”

The new RJT Tadano GT-550E has had little down time since delivery working on a number of local construction and wharf projects. Should business continue to gather pace, Nick Saroukas will again look to James Equipment for a second new Tadano crane.
