The re-signing is a solid affirmation of James Equipments’ successful promotion of the Tadano name in the Australian marketplace.
The new contract was made official at the Tadano International Headquarters in Tokyo, May 2005. James Equipment Managing Director, Brendan James, made the journey across to Japan to confirm future involvements with Tadano. Mr Seiji Ozawa, General Manager of Tadano’s International Sales Division, was on hand to formalise the new partnership.
Since becoming the exclusive Australian distributor for Tadano cranes in 2003, James Equipment has been rewarded with not only strong sales success but also high praise from the world’s leading hydraulic crane manufacturer.
Indeed, since being appointed authorised distributor, James Equipment has taken the Tadano brand to lofty heights. Australia is acknowledged as the number 1 Tadano market in Oceania and the fourth largest Tadano market in the world; Australia being outpointed only by America, UAE and the Middle East.
“We have worked hard to reinstate Tadano to the top of the Australian crane market and believe the future of Tadano in Australia is looking very positive,” said Brendan James.
“Our relationship with Tadano Cranes is mutually beneficial. Tadano is very happy with our Australian sales figures and we find it a pleasure to deal with a manufacturer who actively supports us and our customers with great enthusiasm.”
Tadano is a progressive company that dedicate a huge part of their attention towards research and development to deliver a crane product that is not only reliable, but strong, safe and full of innovative features.
The range of Tadano cranes covers the All-Terrain, Rough Terrain and City Class crane segments. The strong design, standard features and affordability of Tadano cranes has found favour with the Australian construction and rental industries alike.
Tadano’s international success can also be attributed to their industry leading warranty structure and commitment to customer support.
“One of the main reasons why we are so proud to be a part of this association with Tadano is because of their 100% dedication to, and support of, our customers,” said Brendan James.
“Such support gives us the confidence to heavily promote the Tadano name as a perfect product for Australia’s tough construction and resource development sectors.”
Tadano’s heavy investment in innovative crane technology results in a constant flow of new products onto the world market. Several new models are about to make their first Australian appearance and James Equipment looks forward to their imminent success. The new models include new All Terrain models Tadano Faun ATF 80-4 and the Tadano Faun ATF 160-G5, both recently awarded Crane of the Year titles in their categories, announced by Germany’s premier crane and heavy transport magazine, Kran & Schwertransport.
