Currently the biggest Streaker hull is the Streaker 5.85 series. The new Streaker 6.35 Series hull delivers an even bigger boat, making the Streaker range longer than ever. It also allows current Streaker customers to remain with the Streaker brand when they feel the need to go to a bigger rig.
Streaker director Leon Savage proudly unveiled the new hull for the cameras to reveal a big, wide bodied hull with deck plug 85% complete.
“We have set about designing a true offshore trailerable fishing boat,” Leon Savage said.
“This boat has a huge cockpit and can be powered by a single outboard up to 225 hp in the customer’s choice of two stroke or four stroke configuration.”
The basic statistics of the hull are impressive. The length is 6.35m, beam 2.5m and the deadrise is a variable design with a rating of 20° at the transom.
Routinely Streaker Boats has fielded enquiries from happy Streaker owners who want to move up from their existing Streaker to a bigger boat. These people love their Streaker boat and until now they have not been able to move up to a bigger hull with all the valued Streaker attributes.
“That’s all about to change,” Leon Savage said. “We have already sea trialled the new rig and will be releasing the new boat at Melbourne, our home town boat show in July 2007.”
