The stringers are ladder-like structures that lie between the floor and the hull which provide longitudinal support and hull rigidity. Featured in the 545 and 585 models from the tried and tested Streaker range, the new fibreglass foam-filled stringers significantly increase the structural integrity of the hull and providing extra strength.

Moulded separately from the hull, the new sub floor process begins by lining the stringer mould with fibreglass. The mould is then filled with foam and finished flush across the flanges for a perfect fit. Accurately formed to fit the contours of the hull, the stringers are finally bonded to the interior- dramatically increasing the strength of the hull.

"This process was designed to not only maximise the strength of the hull, but to also increase the efficiency of the manufacturing process," said company co-founder Leon Savage. "This new technology allows us to provide our customers with a stronger, safer and more durable product."

The new fibreglass stringers are now incorporated on the 545 and 585 series of Streaker boats. The 545 Sirocco runabout and Sirocco bowrider plus the 545 Tournament and Bluewater all benefit from this new technology. The 585 series Longreach and Tournament and the up-coming SportsCruiser complete the new advancement to Streaker's strong line-up.
