Executive Decision Made for Christmas
Wynnum Marine customer and loyal CruiseCraft owner Barry Clark had every reason to be excited at Christmas with a brand new CruiseCraft Executive 700 arriving on his doorstep in time for the holiday season.

Putting into retirement his past dedication to serious blue water fishing, Barry Clark purchased the stylish Executive 700 as a weekend cruiser and is set to further develop his CruiseCraft passion as he starts to explore the sparkling waters around Brisbane’s Moreton Bay and beyond.

“This is my fourth CruiseCraft boat since 1999 and I’ve decided to shift my focus to weekend cruising rather than offshore fishing,” said Barry.

“When it was time to invest in a bigger 7m CruiseCraft, I stuck with the team at Wynnum Marine. They have gone out of their way to ensure I was confident in handling my new boat. I also found Justin from CruiseCraft to be exceptional and he spent a lot of time with me on the water making sure everything was ok.”

“I’ve enjoyed the performance of all my CruiseCraft boats and my new Executive 700 is perfect for the extended time we plan to be out on the water. I’ve spent enough time chasing serious fish and now I want to explore the open water with my partner in total comfort.”

“We were originally looking at buying a caravan but are now delighted with the versatility and freedom of the CruiseCraft Executive 700. If you’re not happy with your neighbours in a caravan park you cannot move. In my CruiseCraft Executive, I can simply pull anchor and move 100m away and we’re in complete privacy.”

Released onto the Australian market late 2005, the CruiseCraft Executive 700 offers boaters the proven offshore credentials of a CruiseCraft hull with all the features expected from a luxury apartment. The separate shower and toilet facility with open plan dining and galley scored big points with Barry and his partner who also plan to entertain with their kids and grandchildren.

“We’ve already had a couple of runs out over the Christmas break and we love the ability to change our scenery whenever we want to. The hull performs true to all my previous CruiseCraft boats and I have complete confidence taking the Executive 700 offshore and down the coast on extended trips. I still enjoy catching a fish for dinner too.”

Bridging the gap between large offshore cruisers and smaller sports trailerboats, the CruiseCraft Executive 700 is the ideal on-water weekender with enclosed shower and toilet, plumbed hot and cold water system, spacious galley and onboard sleeping accommodation. The Executive 700 is also legally towable on Australian roads and easily handled by a couple looking for that weekend escape.

The Clark cruiser also had an inflatable tender fitted including an outboard bracket for storing the small engine on the rear boarding platform away from the deck. Already having previous experience with CruiseCraft models ranging from 5.5m to 6.85m, Barry was thankful to be able to deal with a group of people with which he had a longstanding relationship.

Wynnum Marine is the Brisbane home of CruiseCraft boats. The dealership is the authorised dealer for CruiseCraft, Lewis ski boats, Gemini inflatables, AllyCraft aluminium boats, Yamaha and Evinrude outboard engines.
