“We have managed to accumulate way too many second-hand outboard engines and we need to move them out of the dealership and onto the transom of boats.”

“At Wynnum Marine we have a very healthy repower business; selling and fitting new Yamaha and BPR outboards to existing boats. Over time we have amassed a huge inventory of good quality traded outboard engines. Now it’s time to move this stock and get our inventory down to a more manageable level.”

The inventory of used outboard engines covers all the major brands, Yamaha, Evinrude, Johnson, Mercury, Suzuki and Mainer. There are used outboard engines from as small as compact 2hp units, all the way through to the top end 200hp plus models.

Every used outboard engine sold at Wynnum Marine is thoroughly workshop tested and comes with a comprehensive warranty. Many of the outboards available at the Wynnum sale have quite low engine hours.

“These engines are ideal for boaters who are looking to replace their current tired and old outboard engine with a quality second-hand unit,” Danny Nichols said. “It is also a fabulous opportunity for boaters to bolster the power on their transom without going all the way of buying a brand new engine.”

Because there are so many engines to be cleared, the Wynnum Marine used outboard sale will run over two months, January and February 2006. Engines can be shipped Australia wide to customers who choose to shop via the phone or on the internet.

“We are committed to heavily reducing the number of used outboards in stock, so we are genuine about discounting our used engines to genuine boaters,” said Danny Nichols.
