Customers can choose their Quicksilver Inflatable boats with either the economical Duratex HD material or the industry leading, abrasion and chemical resistant Hypalon XD fabric that defies the most rugged of marine environments.
Wynnum Marine has a good range of Quicksilver inflatables in stock ready to go. There is also a wide range of both 2-stroke and 4-stroke portable Yamaha or Johnson/Evinrude outboards, pre-delivered for instant hand over to customers who want to go boating without delay.
“Inflatable boats not only make ideal tenders but also open up the world of boating to a whole group of people who don’t wish to spend a lot of money on larger conventional boats,” said Wynnum Marine Director Danny Nichols.
Quicksilver Inflatables offer an economic boating alternative that is highly practical, light-weight, easy to manoeuvre and incredibly durable. The choice of materials and unique design features see these inflatables match it with more conventional hulls.
“Now we can cater for both boaties both power and sail looking for a durable tender and the first-time boating all-rounder looking to do a bit of everything, without having to spend everything,” said Danny Nichols.
“Quicksilver is a proven brand that we are proud to have onboard at Wynnum.”
Light weight doesn’t necessarily mean light performance with Quicksilver Inflatables boasting stronger construction to support the additional weight of heavier outboards. From fishing to cruising or even a serious session of water sports, the sturdy construction of a Quicksilver Inflatable is the best assurance of a big day out.
Just as functional as a conventional boat, the Quicksilver range includes stainless-steel towing eyes, lifting handles, a heavy-duty PVC covered transom, one-way drain plug plus a high velocity air pump and carry bag as standard. Duratex HD models feature a marine-grade plywood bench seat and the Hypalon XD models feature an aluminium bench seat.
Another advantage of the Quicksilver product range is the inflatable keel and new high-performance QuickLift end-cones. Quicksilver AirDeck, Sport and Heavy Duty models boast the inflatable keel for superior performance and improved steering.
The QuickLift end cones are a sleek looking bow extension cones that reduce planing time by 50% and raise the bow by 15% plus the end cones also help deliver a drier ride when coming off the plane. This new QuickLift design gives additional lift and buoyancy in the transom area and better stability in rough conditions.
