The Kratzmann boating venture began 18 months ago at their third retail location in Burpengary selling local Queensland boating brands CoxCraft, Ozcraft, TABS and Allison boats.
Rather than bring on any outboard agency to meet their immediate needs, the Kratzmann team decided to wait until they could secure the Yamaha franchise, Australia’s top selling brand. Their decision has now paid off.
“We sat back and waited for the right opportunity and now we are the sole Yamaha dealership in the Northern section of Brisbane,” said Clint Kratzmann.
“Our boating dealership is just down the road from our main caravan outlet in Burpengary with great exposure to the nearby Bruce Highway. We are a household name in caravans with celebrities like Lee Kernaghan and Craig Lowndes supporting the Kratzmann team. We plan to become a household name in boats too with strong local brands on offer.”
Kratzmann Caravans has built their success on a philosophy of choice because the more they stock, the better they can quickly meet customer needs and delivery of their new boat. This is reflected in their product line-up with no less than seven brands of caravan and recreational vehicle on offer.

Yamaha offers their legendary 2-stroke range from 2hp to 200hp, their high technology 4-stroke outboards from 2.5hp to 350hp and their high pressure direction injection VMAX outboards from 150hp to 200hp. Whether it be a plate aluminium or fibreglass trailerboat, Kratzmann has the Yamaha outboard package available.
