Terrace Boating Appointed Streaker/Yamaha BMT Dealer For NSW
In a landmark dealer appointment, the Melbourne based boat manufacturer of Streaker Boats has appointed Terrace Boating as the sole and exclusive Streaker dealer for NSW.
All boats will be supplied to Terrace Boating as Yamaha powered boat/motor/trailer rigs.
Streaker powerboats are manufactured by L & P Savage Brothers Marine. Up until the appointment of Terrace Boating, 100% of Streaker production was sold through the company’s retail outlet, Streaker Boats of Bayswater in Melbourne.
“We were approached by Terrace Boating to become an authorised Streaker dealer,” said Leon Savage of Streaker. “We looked closely at our structure and agreed that the time was right to have dealer representation in NSW.”
“The NSW market is a significant one and we believe that our customers in NSW would be better supported with a local, solid dealer. Terrace Boating fits the Streaker criteria well.”
Due to the obvious synergy between Streaker and Terrace Boating, making the appointment was straight forward.
Both Streaker Boats and Terrace Boating are Yamaha Platinum dealers. Both are committed to the Yamaha brand, selling and servicing the Yamaha brand exclusively. And of course both dealers offer Yamaha’s YMF finance to customers to get them on the water quickly. Both companies are family owned with the extended family members actively involved in the day to day operation of their respective dealerships.
“One of the strengths of our appointment is that our production and rigging process will continue unchanged,” Leon Savage said.
“Every Streaker boat that we build is rigged with a Yamaha outboard engine. The boats that we are supplying Terrace Boating are absolutely identical to the boats that come off the line and wind up on the Streaker Boats showroom floor.”
Terrace Boating is currently stocking and displaying a range of Streaker boats, all rigged with Yamaha outboard engines.
“Streaker is a great addition to the range of boats on offer at Terrace Boating,” said Peter Padmos.
“We see the Streaker brand as complimenting our existing brands at Terrace Boating. Streaker is a great entry level boat, or an ideal boat for someone stepping up from an aluminium dinghy to their first fibreglass boat.”

Terrace Boating is a 35 year established dealership, located on a 3-acre site at Raymond Terrace, just north of Newcastle. Servicing the greater Newcastle region that also includes the Hunter Valley, the majority of customers are blue-collar workers who demand great value for money from their boating purchase.
