The YEG range of Yanmar generators encompasses both diesel and gas engine powered generators with either 2 or 4 pole generation. Yanmar 2 Pole generators range from 10 to 45 kW of prime power and new 4 Pole units producing between 10.1 to 53.8kW. The YEG gas powered engine generator delivers up to 18.5kW of prime power and will be available for both propane and natural gas.
Dependable power from Yanmar does not come at a cost to peace and quiet with the new YEG Series specifically developed using materials that suppress noise and reduce vibration. A reduction in radiant noise and optimum muffler volumes is achieved through the use of sound isolation materials.

The TNV engines are built to last. Delivering substantially bigger generation capacity from the same package size, the durable TNV engines feature enhanced block cooling, stiffer cranks, and pistons plus finer journal and other tolerance. The TNV engines are matched to ultra-reliable gensets which have protective devices against lubrication oil pressure drop, excessive water temperature rise and faulty battery charging.
Efficiency in operation is another hallmark of the Yanmar YEG Series thanks to the newly refined TNV engine. The redeveloped combustion chamber maximises air flow and enhances fuel mixing to greatly improve fuel efficiency. A low consumption engine matched to a high-efficiency power generator results in low cost operation.
The Yanmar YEG Series generators are also so compact and lightweight that no foundation work is required during installation. All components are mounted on a single bed with specially designed anti-vibration blocks to facilitate smooth operation.
Daily inspection of the unit is straightforward with various filters and batteries located on the same side as the instrument panel. All engine, generator and power function are managed from one control panel that is easily visible and easy to operate. Simplicity is the key when using the Yanmar YEG Series.
When managing the power needs of any facility, safety is paramount. The output terminals of the YEG Series units are fully covered and separated well away from the instrument panel to prevent electric shocks. All rotating parts are also covered while the use of damper coils in the brushless, AVR generation increasing reliability by equalizing wave distortion. An earth terminal is also included.
